Host Office Responsibilities for Plano Networking Meetings
The goals of the semi-monthly Plano Networking Meetings are:
- To help educate CCAR members and ATS subscribers by providing interesting, timely and informative programs related to real estate.
- To promote professionalism and disseminate information regarding Association Technology Services, Inc. (ATS) MLS and CCAR activities.
- To provide a scheduled time and meeting place for members and subscribers to exchange information and to network.
Host offices must be REALTOR® or Affiliate members of CCAR and/or ATS, Inc. members.
When you volunteer to host a Plano Networking Meeting for the month, you must secure an advertiser and speaker for each meeting (unless otherwise agreed to). As soon as you obtain this information, please e-mail it to Diane Donley at diane@ccar.net.
Advertisers are responsible for assuming the costs of refreshments by paying CCAR $300 on the day of the meeting to furnish coffee and breakfast foods (i.e. bagels, donuts, and coffeecakes) for approximately 175 people. Only the advertiser is allowed to place marketing materials directly on the round meeting tables. The advertiser will address the audience with a maximum five-minute promotion.
The topics for all speakers shall be educational in nature or promote Association activities and shall not be used for the promotion, marketing or sale of products or services for commercial vendors. The host office may not promote its own company's services.
Meeting Schedule:
8:30-9 a.m. - Networking
9 a.m. - Program and Announcements
10 a.m. - Adjourn
