Short Sales & Foreclosures: What Real Estate Professionals Need to Know
For many real estate professionals, short sales and foreclosures are the new “traditional” real estate transaction. Knowing how to help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales, as well as help buyers pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities, are not merely good skills to have in today’s market— they are critical. And while short sales and foreclosures are not for the faint of heart, agents with the proper tools and training can use these specialty areas to build their business for the long term.
This 8-CE course will help agents evaluate the various options available for distressed homeowners and identify components of an effective short-sale package, as well as present ways to counsel potential buyers of foreclosed properties.
The Short Sales and Foreclosures course counts towards earning NAR’s Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification, as well as one REBAC elective course to be applied towards the ABR® designation. It can be completed in a classroom.
Registration will occur from 8 a.m.-8:30. Course begins promptly at 8:30 a.m.
