Government Affairs & TREPAC

CCAR has an extremely active Government Affairs Department and committee that monitors issues in Collin County pertaining to real estate and private property rights. The Government Affairs Committee is also extremely active in interviewing candidates for City and County elections for endorsement by CCAR.

CCAR is also very active in the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee (TREPAC). The voluntary investments TREPAC receives are used to support candidates for federal, state and local offices who demonstrate their support for the preservation of private property rights and the real estate profession. CCAR's TREPAC Committee holds fundraising events throughout the year.
