What is the Collin County Association of REALTORS®?
Based in Plano, the Collin County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) is the source for professional and reliable real estate information in North Texas. Affiliated with the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, CCAR works to provide our 5,000 members with the tools they need to remain successful. The Multiple Listing Service, education programs and an extensive political action program are just a few of the services CCAR provides.
Why should I advertise with CCAR?
CCAR has 5,000 members who are all local REALTORS® or Affiliates in real estate-related businesses. Our members consistently visit our Web site, view our newsletter, attend special events, and take classes to network and stay informed on the latest happenings. By advertising with CCAR, you are ensuring that your company is placed in front of the eyes of our members.
We treat our advertisers with respect and ensure that your ad is prominently featured so that your company gets the "biggest bang for its buck." Because all of our members live in the area and do business locally, advertising with CCAR is a great way to get your company in front of thousands of real potential customers. In addition, because REALTORS® not only work with homeowners, mortgage companies, title companies, inspection services, and many more, they pass on the good word about companies they enjoy doing business with.
How many people view your Web site and newsletter?
Per month, CCAR's Web site, www.ccar.net, receives an average of 23,000 visits, 74,000 page views, and 1.6 million hits. In addition, our newsletter is delivered via e-mail to each of our members, and then is archived on our Web site for all to see. All of this means that your advertisement will be seen by thousands of local potential customers.
I notice that an "Installation" event is part of your advertising packages, what is that?
Every year, CCAR installs its new president, vice president, secretary/treasurer, past president and Board of Directors. This high-profile event is full of awards and special presentations, and is attended by approximately 400 CCAR members and industry colleagues. CCAR's Installation provides you with one of the best venues to get the word out about your company.
I notice that "TREPAC" events are part of your advertising packages, what is that?
TREPAC (Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee) is a voluntary, nonprofit, unincorporated group whose membership consists of REALTORS® and others interested in protecting the free rights of property ownership in the United States. As a political action committee, TREPAC complies with all federal and state campaign-investment laws. The voluntary investments TREPAC receives are used to support candidates for federal, state, and local office who demonstrate their support for the preservation of private property rights and the real estate profession.
Please note: Some businesses are not allowed to provide advertising funds for TREPAC events. Please check your company's policy in advance to see if you are able to participate. If you are not able to participate but would still like an advertising package, please let us know so that we can work with you to arrange a package that fits your needs.
