PROCEDURE TO FILE COMPLAINT OF VIOLATION
- Complete complaint form - SIGN - then mail or fax with DOCUMENTATION to the MLS department at ATS, Inc. (972 - 491-3180 attn: MLS Director)
- The MLS department will do follow-up investigation to determine if complaint is valid and may require you to provide additional information.
- The MLS department may send an Inquiry of Complaint to the alleged violator.
- If the complaint is determined to be valid, a written report will be submitted to the MLS Rules and Regulations Sub-Committee for consideration.
- After consideration, the MLS Rules and Regulations Sub-Committee will determine if the complaint is to be forwarded to the MLS Committee.
- The MLS Committee will then determine a course of action, if any, and applicable fines.
An ATS member who has a concern or observation regarding MLS may call the MLS Department without filing a complaint.
It is always best for the two brokers involved to contact each other prior to filing a complaint. Most situations can be resolved by getting the broker directly involved. |
