1. To communicate with a blue iBOX point the end of your DisplayKEY directly at the infrared lens located on the iBOX.
2. For best results, the distance between your key and the iBOX should be within one foot.
3. In direct sunlight you may need to shade the area between the key and the iBOX or place the key right next to the iBOX. Wait for the completion tones before breaking the connection between your key and iBOX. If direct sunlight is a problem, you will see "not authorized" on your DisplayKEY.
4. If you are trying to open a grey AEII keybox, and your DisplayKEY reads "not authorized"-it probably means "no contact". That is, there is not a good connection between the contacts on the grey AEII keybox and your DisplayKEY. Pound down on the top of the shackle or take needle-nose pliers and pull the prongs down a little.
5. On the grey AEII keyboxes, if the shackle won't release; squeeze the black handle (the shackle) at the same time that you are releasing the shackle-make it a two-handed operation.
6. If you are updating your DisplayKEY on a phone line with "call notes", or another answering service, all NEW messages need to be cleared off BEFORE you try to update the DisplayKEY.
7. Register your keyboxes, both grey AEII boxes and your iBOXes, on the Supra website, http://www.supraekey.com/ and you can check to see who has been in your listings.
8. Remember to always make an appointment before entering a listing!
9. DisplayKEYs are LEASED from Supra at CCAR; usually at the time of joining CCAR. iBOXes are PURCHASED in the CCAR store.
10. Pressing "1 and enter" at the same time resets your DisplayKEY.
