Mal Smith

Mal Smith graduated from Hofstra University in 1964 with a BBA in Finance. He was an entrepreneur in the restaurant industry for many years prior to his real estate career. He also served our country as a U.S. Naval Aviator.

Mal has been a REALTOR® since 1985, and has been a RE/MAX Multimillion Dollar sales producer since 1989. He was a member of the RE/MAX Platinum Club in 1997 and 1998, and he received the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005. He currently is the manager of the RE/MAX office in Frisco. Mal earned his ABR and CRS designations in the early 1990's, and was a real estate instructor at North Lake College in Irving, Texas from 1991-2006. In addition, he was the LoneStar CRS Dallas Regional Director in 2008.

Mal has been active on several CCAR committees and was the Chair of the 2008 TREPAC Committee. He also served on the CCAR Board of Directors in 2006 and 2008, and was the recipient of the prestigious CCAR Distinguished Service Award for 2008.
