During the Collin County Business Development Meeting on February 9, CCAR announced its 2020 annual award winners. Join us in congratulating our members who received top honors:

Leslie Rouda Smith, CCAR Past President and NAR 2021 President Elect, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her many years of service to the Association, as well as her tireless dedication and leadership to the real estate industry. The Lifetime Achievement Award was created in 2009 to award individuals who have gone above-and-beyond to serve CCAR over the course of their real estate careers. This is not an annual award, rather it is only presented when the REALTOR® of the Year Committee deems it appropriate.

Barry Hardman of Fathom Realty received the REALTOR® of the Year Award for his work on behalf of fellow CCAR REALTORS® during 2020. The REALTOR® of the Year Award recognizes a REALTOR® for his/her work and contributions to CCAR and the real estate industry during the calendar year. This award is CCAR’s highest degree of honor and appreciation to a member. The recipient of the REALTOR® of the Year Award is selected by his/her peers.

Crystal Parkinson of Academy Mortgage received the Affiliate of the Year Award for her work and contributions to CCAR and its membership during 2020. The Affiliate of the Year Award recognizes an Affiliate member for his/her work and contributions to CCAR, which have benefitted the association and its membership during the calendar year.

Distinguished Service Award recipients are selected by the President, and recognize REALTOR® members for distinguished service during the President’s term of office. Melissa Hailey, CCAR Past President and Broker of North Texas Top Team REALTORS®, received the Distinguished Service Award from 2020 CCAR President David Long, for her ongoing committee work at the local and state levels, as well as her dedication to CCAR. Mike Mansfield of The Mansfield Group also received a Distinguished Service Award from 2020 President David Long, for his ongoing work in government affairs and advocacy initiatives at the local and state levels.
