Voter Registration Deadline for Municipal Elections is April 1

Voting day

April 1, 2021 is the last day to register to vote in the May 1 municipal elections.

If you’re not registered yet, you can register to vote in person at your county voter registrar's office. Libraries and post offices also provide postage-paid voter application forms. If neither of these are an option for you, you can print a voter application form online or request one to be mailed to you. Whatever option you choose, remember that the application must be received by your county voter registrar's office, or at least postmarked, 30 days prior to an election.

Don’t know if you’re registered to vote? The Texas Secretary of State has set up a website that allows Texans to check their voter status.
